Elm Slabs with a Sawzall

Got some Elm wood from a chopped down tree, free on Craigslist.
Chopping into slabs works pretty well with a Diablo 12" 3 TPI blade. Even cuts that are wider than 12" can be made, as the blade can handle plunge cuts on the reciprocating saw.
Still sucks compared to a band saw, gotta attempt to find a suitable motor and make a custom motor mount to fix my band saw.
