New Bookshelf Speakers Built
Feb 4, 2023
Blew my last pair of Dayton Audio bookshelf speakers, so upgraded to a pair that I had to build, including building the crossovers, but it was so worth it. Was fairly easy and they sound amazing. The soundstage is incredible, and the accuracy is great. They don't get super loud, but I knew that going in. Can't beat physics, so just gotta go bigger on the next build.
These are the speakers built: https://www.parts-express.com/Overnight-Sensations-MT-Speaker-Pair-Kit-300-706
Specs for reference later:
8-ohm input rating
12/18db crossover network with a voltage divider on the tweeter (This is a second order low pass and third order high pass with an l pad)
