Straightening Out a Bookshelf

I built this bookshelf about a year ago, and the bottom was sagging pretty badly from loads of books, despite my 1x2 perpendicular strengthening strip on the bottom. Not strong enough it turns out.
So I glued a straight 2x4 to the bottom. The bookshelf is clamped down to the workbench and spreader clamps are used to push up the bottom shelf as the glue dries. Seems to be holding up pretty well so far.
